North East Water Damage

SERVPRO of Cecil County recently visited a home that had suffered water damage in North East.  Three inches of water had traveled to two areas of the home, damaging the floor and other surfaces.  Our team visited the property immediately to begin the water restoration process.

We began with removing all elements of the home with water damage, including the insulation, paneling, baseboard and drywall.  Once the water was extracted from both the hard surface floor and carpeted areas, we then placed an air mover and dehumidifier in the affected space for a 24 hour period.  This drying equipment will allow the damaged portions of the home to fully dry as well as help eliminate the risk of future water or mold damage.  Our restoration team then completed the process with properly cleaning the surfaces and floors of the structure.
