Preventing The Threat of Mold!

Mold is a type of fungus that grows in damp and humid environments.  It can be found both indoors and outdoors and comes in various colors, such as black, green, or white.  Mold spores can spread easily through the air and can cause health issues for individuals with allergies or respiratory problems.  It is important to address mold growth promptly to prevent further spread and potential health risks.

SERVPRO of Cecil County recently completed mold remediation projects for several homes, one of which involved mold damage in a child’s toy room.  The North East homeowner expressed concerns about the health of her young children.  After assessing the site, our mold remediation team developed and executed a comprehensive mold removal plan in accordance with our IICRC health and safety guidelines.  We’re glad we were able to help create a healthier environment for this family.
